Baglamukhi Jayanti is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaisakh. It is the day Maa Baglamukhi is held by the tradition to have manifested for the first time - emerging from the cosmic ocean during a sky-shattering storm, when the Vedic tradition needed a deity who could stop what could not be otherwise stopped.
This is why Baglamukhi Jayanti carries more potency for any baglamukhi puja than any other day in the year. The cosmic moment that gave her form is replicated in the calendar each year. To do her puja on this day is to perform it inside the temporal echo of her own manifestation.
What Cosmic Timing Means
