From Adversity to Victory: What Sankalp Means When Your Situation Is Not Perfect

In the standard Vedic framing, a puja is conducted from a place of preparation. The materials are arranged. The pandit is settled. The devotee comes with a clear intention. Everything that is supposed to be in place is in place - and then the sankalp mantra is spoken.

But what happens when your situation is not like this? When you come to a baglamukhi puja from the middle of a crisis? When the only thing you can declare with honesty is that things are not okay?

Other deities respond to settled intention. Baglamukhi responds to truthful intention. She is the goddess of Stambhan - the power to stop the harmful force at its source. The Sankalp from adversity is, paradoxically, the most powerful Sankalp for Baglamukhi puja. It names the actual situation. It does not pretend.
