Vastu Shanti Puja

Overview

What Is This Puja?

Vastu Shanti Puja is the rite of peace between a lived-in home and its presiding devata. Where Griha Pravesh consecrates a home at the moment of entry, Vastu Shanti is performed for the house the family already lives in: the home occupied without a Griha Pravesh, the home after renovation or structural change, the home where the family senses unease it cannot name, or simply the home due its periodic shanti. The rite invokes Ganesh ji, establishes the Kalash, honours the Matrika devis, and performs the central avahan and pujan of Vastu Devta with full vidhi-vidhan, after which the pandit carries the kalash jal through the home, touching every room with its peace. Shanti mantras close the rite, with Hawan offered as an optional add-on. The puja is conducted at your home. Your gotra and Kul Devata are recorded at booking. The base puja takes approximately two hours.
SiddhiStar Note
The parampara treats a house as a living arrangement between a family and a devata. Most days the arrangement holds quietly. But homes change: walls move, floors are added, years pass, and sometimes a family simply feels the house has grown restless around them. Vastu Shanti is the rite of setting that arrangement right, room by room, with water from the consecrated kalash and the patience of the full vidhi.

Important Note

Vastu Shanti Puja is performed at the lived-in home, and is distinct from Griha Pravesh, which is the rite of first entry. Families who occupied their home without a Griha Pravesh within the first year should consider Griha Pravesh itself; beyond that window, or after renovation, Vastu Shanti is the appropriate rite. Hawan is offered as a 30-minute add-on at booking. The Kalash, the chowki, and the hawan kund (where opted) are arranged by the family. The SiddhiStar Samagri Kit (Block 1) is offer
