Diwali Office Opening Puja

A shubh aarambh for your new workspace - Ganesh ji invoked, Lakshmi ji sthapana done, the office blessed before the first day of business.

Diwali Office Opening Puja

Overview

What Is This Puja?

Many Indian businesses time the move into a new office so that the first working day falls in the days around Diwali, when the whole country is worshipping Lakshmi and the trader’s new year begins. The Diwali Office Opening Puja makes that first day a proper beginning. The puja consecrates your new office as a place of dharmic work. A Pandit of the Narwar Dham parampara, booked through SiddhiStar, performs it at the office itself. He invokes Ganesh ji to remove obstacles from the new venture, Lakshmi ji for prosperity, and Saraswati ji for clarity of thought, and welcomes Vastu Devta into the workspace. The Diwali season adds Kubera pujan, the blessing of the office’s first register and its seal, Deepdaan across the workspace, and a muhurat chosen from the most auspicious days of the festive window. The puja ends with the establishment of a pooja ka sthan, so the office has a permanent place where each working day can begin with a lit diya.
SiddhiStar Note
“In household tradition, a place of work is not different in kind from a place of home. During Diwali, both, require the divine lakshmi worship. Office Opening Puja is that moment of inviting - a shubh aarambh for the family's enterprise.”
